Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated brewer with an expert knowledge of the brewing process from grain to glass. This person will need to communicate daily workflow needs with fellow brewers and management. The ability to follow production schedules as laid out and report any issues to management in a timely manner is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support the application of best practices and quality control measures in brewing and cellaring
• Occasional recipe development
• Identify areas for improvement when it comes to efficiency, communication, processes, quality, etc. and implement positive change
• Daily housekeeping and cleanliness measures for a quality driven brewery
• Inventory and reporting of received goods and communicating needs to management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant commercial brewery experience preferred
• Expert-level knowledge of brewing processes, science, and quality control measures
• Automation brewing experience is a plus
• Centrifuge operating experience is preferred
• High-level knowledge of brewing ingredients and adjuncts
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to use Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Google docs
• Team player, self-starter and can-do attitude
